Dedicated or Decoupling

The power supply system is ideal for supplying your new electronic ignition system with power, in case your plane does not already have a 12 V power source. It can provide around 6 Amps of power at 2200 RPM, which is plenty for supplying an electronic ignition system and many of your auxiliary electronic devices, such as navigation or modern low-power avionics.
In case you are going for dual electronic ignition it may be a good idea to have a separate power supply for each system and the Drino power supply is perfect for that application.

Designed to fit in the magneto drive on Lycoming & Continental Engines, the power supply alternator is easy to install and use. The mounting interface is identical to standard magnetos, so you can easily use the existing threaded studs.
